International Feminist Forum Bonn 2025

17. August 2025

From 10 to 17 August 2025, Bonn became the meeting place for around 90 delegates and 30 officials to address the topic of intersectional feminism. At the International Feminist Forum, young people from different backgrounds came together to discuss justice, diversity and solidarity.

For one week, spaces for exchange, learning and critical questioning were created in Bonn. Participants discussed complex issues, shared experiences and developed ideas on how feminist concerns can become more visible and effective.

Particularly impressive were the final plenary days, during which the resolutions that had been drafted were presented and discussed. These concluding debates made it clear that intersectional feminism offers practical answers to social challenges.

The forum was made possible by the commitment of the organising team and the openness of the delegates, who were willing to change perspectives and learn from each other.

For many, this week was more than just a date in the calendar: it showed how change begins when people come together, listen and take responsibility together.
