3. Information on Tax Relief (Steuerbegünstigung)
Our work, due to the promotion of public and vocational education, including student assistance, according to the latest exemption notice we received from the Tax Office for Corporations I (Finanzamts für Körperschaften I), Berlin (tax number 27/664/52423) dated 1 July 2020, is exempt from corporation tax (Körperschaftssteuer) in accordance with Section 5 (1) No. 9 of the Corporation Tax Act (Körperschaftssteuergesetz) and from trade tax (Gewerbesteuer) in accordance with Section 3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act (Gewerbesteuergesetz) for 2017-2019.

Our office in Berlin employs one full-time fundraising officer and two FSJ Politik volunteers, both working full-time. In addition to the eight volunteer board members, around 200 volunteers help with the association’s activities each year.

9. Corporate Affiliation with Third Parties
The European Youth Parliament in Germany e.V. is part of the umbrella organisation of the European Youth Parliament (EYP), a network that is currently represented and active in 40 European countries. The EYP is a project line of the Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe.
10. Names of Legal Bodies whose Annual Payments exceed 10 per cent of the total Annual Budget
For the organisation of the International Meeting in Hamburg in 2019, we received a donation from the Bundesstiftung Aufarbeitung der SED Diktatur (Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED) Dictatorship, which accounted for 13.2% of the total annual budget. For the organisation of the Regional Selection Meetings in 2019, we received funding from the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, which accounted for 16.5% of the total annual budget.
