General Information
Since 1990, we at EJP have been offering young people between the ages of 15 and 25 a space to express their opinions on European issues and to make friends and contacts across Europe. In extended parliamentary simulations, we make European politics tangible and accessible in a non-partisan way.
- Shaping politics in Europe
Even though we have no political mandate, we want to have fun developing fresh ideas for our own continent. After all, it’s our own future at stake! - By young people for young people
All our events are organised by young people on a voluntary basis. This is what makes our events so special and creates space for everyone to get involved. - Non-partisan and independent
We do not have a political mandate, but are committed to political education. In doing so, we remain independent of political parties. - International network EYP
The EJP is part of the umbrella organisation of the European Youth Parliament (EYP), a network that is currently represented and active in 40 European countries.
Resources
In addition to general information about our association's work, we would also like to inform you about individual events. The press materials are therefore available below, broken down by event. In addition to the usual press information and press releases, you will also find press kits that provide detailed insights and an overview of specific events.
We are delighted that you are interested in the National Selection Meeting in Karlsruhe. To conclude this year’s national selection process, around 150 young people from Germany and 20 European countries will gather in the city to discuss the overarching theme of ‘Strengthening the European rule of law, rethinking civil rights’. For more information, please take a look at the Press Booklet.
