Subdivided according to the individual sessions of the European Youth Parliament, you will find factual information in the form of press releases and press kits. If you need pictures for your reporting, please have a look at our stock photos at the bottom of this page. Please make sure to provide copyright information for these pictures. If you still have questions after reading the documents, please contact the contact person of the respective meeting. For general enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact the Executive Board member for press and public relations, Lars Meier.
Since our founding in 1990 we, the European Youth Parliament in Germany (EJP), have offered young people between the ages of 15 and 25 a space to voice their opinions on European topics and make friends all across the continent. Our extended parliamentary simulations allow our participants to directly experience European politics.
We want to have fun developing new ideas for our continent even though we do not have a political mandate. It is our own future that is at stake!
All of our events are organised by young volunteers. This makes our events so special and creates the space for others to get involved.
We do not have a political mandate. Instead we are actively engaged in political education. For this we remain independent of any political parties.
The EJP belongs to the international network of the European Youth Parliament (EYP). The EYP is currently represented and actively engaged in around 40 countries.
Besides the general Information about the work of our association we would like to provide you with specific press materials for each event. Hereinafter you'll find the press materials divided by events. Apart from the commonly used press information and press release you'll mostly find a press portfolio covering the specific event throughout 20 pages in great detail.
