For more than three years Claudia Ardelean has supported EYP Germany as a full-time Managing Director. She coordinates the work of our office in Berlin, represents the organisation together with the Board Members and works in strategic and operative Fundraising.
In our office in Berlin our two volunteers Lilith Seiberth and Nadia Scherrer carry a large part of the administrative work for our organisation. They are supporting us within their voluntary social year (FSJ Politik). We are very thankful for their tireless work and glad that they are standing behind our work for a united Europe as well.
The academic working group is responsible for developing the topics for our sessions and deciding on which topics to lay special emphasis on in our session themes. If you have ideas on future topics to be debated in the European Youth Parliament please contact the responsible board member Lena Kreft.
A good visual identity gets more and more important for the success of young organisations. To ensure a consistent look throughout all of our materials, whether it is for Social Media or Flyers for potential partners, we set up the working group for Visuals & Design. Our members Vincent Jakubowski, Hendrik Richter and Lennard Zündorf use their experience in the Media field to help with the challenge of maintaining and developing our visual identity.
At the latest since the GDPR came into force, the topic of data protection has become an integral part of the agenda. For this reason, two members are concerned with the data protection conformity of our organization. Should you wish to suggest solutions or make complaints, please contact the working group by e-mail.
To celebrate the 30 year anniversary of EYP Germany in 2020 we created this Working Group, that will ensure proper celebrations within the organisation and communication to the outside. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the festivities have been moved to the year 2021. The members of this Working Group are happy to hear about your ideas via E-Mail.
The fundraising working group actively supports the board in its fundraising activities. The members of the working group are involved in private, public, and charity sector fundraising.
This team takes care of anyone who is interested in the EJP. It supports people to find their way into the organisation and helps with arranging spaces at and the preparation for events outside of Germany. If you are interested send an email to mitmachen@eyp.de
The Apprentice and Students team is the first point of contact for apprentices, students and teachers, who would like to organise one of our parliamentary simulations at their school. Usually, the working language of these events is in German. The team also supports our organisers and chairpersons of these events in the preparation of and at the events themselves. You can contact them using schule@eyp.de.
To continuously develop EYP as a safe and open environment that ensures participants' welfare we designated Angie Freimoser as a National Safe Person for Germany. You can reach her under safeperson@eyp.de.
To ensure that the EYP@school sessions receive the same amount of public recognition, our member Friederike Handwerg works strategically on the Press Work and Public Relations for these events.
In the 21st century no NGO can work without a fully equipped and working website. For technical questions and larger changes, we have former board member and computer scientist Philipp Schmidt as a support working in the background to ensure our website stays up to date.
To preserve as much knowledge as possible within our organisation we created our own Wiki. Here Members can find basic information about the structures of EYP Germany, a portal with important forms and templates, an archive of our events and most importantly reports on all the roles for voluntary engagement that we offer, based on the experience of our members. Hannes Pries is responsible for the user experience and keeping the wiki up to date.
Our assistant for contests,Leonie Klüver supports nominations and applications for awards and competitions that recognise our voluntary work She thereby helps building positive public relations and recognition.
